EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2000 - GRAVEL PIT PERMITS ARE RENEWABLE ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, AS OF APRIL 1ST. IN ORDER TO RENEW A GRAVEL PIT PERMIT, ONE NEEDS TO PROVIDE THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER ("CEO") WITH VERIFIED DOCUMENTS RELATING TO HOW MUCH THE PIT HAS BEEN WORKED DURING THE PRIOR YEAR, WHERE THE PIT CURRENTLY IS IN RELATION TO THE WATER TABLE, WHERE THE PIT CURRENTLY IS IN RELATION TO ALL PROPERTY LINES, AND AN ESTIMATION OF WHAT IS EXPECTED TO BE DONE DURING THE UPCOMING YEAR. THE CEO WILL REVIEW THE DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED IN ORDER TO DETERMINE WHETHER ANY FURTHER INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. IF ALL DOCUMENTATION PRESENTED IS IN ORDER, THEN A NEW GRAVEL PIT PERMIT WILL BE ISSUED FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL APRIL 1ST OF THE FOLLOWING YEAR. THE GRAVEL PIT PERMIT RENEWAL FEE IS TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SELECTMEN.
