This meeting was videotaped by Dave Smith.
Mr. Roberts came in to discuss a septic system issue. Mr. Roberts' chief complaint was about the CEO's attitude regarding the fact that Mr. Roberts and his contractor went ahead and covered the newly installed septic system at Mr. Robert's cottage after having been told by the CEO that the system failed the inspection and would have to be reworked. Mr. Roberts was advised that the CEO was certainly within his jurisdiction when the he expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of Mr. Roberts and the contractor in view of the fact that they both had been advised that the system failed an inspection. Mr. Roberts also complained about the fact that the CEO was not at his beck and call and that the CEO was unavailable when Mr. Roberts called the office. Mr. Roberts was informed that this Board had no authorization over the installation of his septic system, and that if the contractor had not complied with the system design, then it was the contractor's responsibility to correct the situation. Mr. Roberts and his contractor left the office to meet with the system's designer.
Brief discussion of the proposed low-income housing project was had. This project has yet to come before the Town's Planning Board. Until such time as the Planning Board has an application before it, there is no action to be taken by the Town.
Weekly warrant was completed.
No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
