SELECTMEN MEETING
JUNE 29, 2000

Herbert Ramsdell, Kathy Maddocks and Barry Gammon were in attendance.

Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

This meeting was videotaped by Dick Jarrett.

Charlie Miller was in to discuss Cable Access Board of Directors. Charlie expressed an interest in being Limington's representative of this Board. Ray Webb who is a Cable Committee member will contact Charlie to let him know the date of the next scheduled meeting of the BoD. Tony Vigue will be advised of Charlie's position.

Ron and Linda Perkins and Justin Gilpatrick were in to discuss their private driveway and the Zoning Ordinance regulations applicable to private driveways in excess of 100' in length. Mr. & Mrs. Perkins were very upset over the zoning requirements imposed on private ways in excess of 100' and do not agree with these requirements. They were advised that neither the CEO nor the Selectmen had any authority to overturn the specified zoning ordinance requirements. They will file an appeal for a variance with the Board of Appeals.

Dick Jarrett presented a signed petition to the Selectmen regarding proposed gravel pit amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, with the request that these amendments be brought to the voters on November 7, 2000. The signatures will be verified by the Town Clerk. The Planning Board will be provided with copies of the petition and the proposed amendments.

Gail Gantick called in to give a status update or the personal property review. Any entities not completed as of June 27, 2000 will be supplemented when complete.
