Herbert Ramsdell, Kathy Maddocks and Barry Gammon were in attendance.

    Meeting was called to order at 6:330 pm.

    Planning Board Chairwoman Wendy Walker was in to briefly discuss the proposed York Cumberland Housing project. Wendy was advised that the Selectmen had virtually nothing in the way of information regarding this project and that nothing had been submitted to this Board by that agency.

    Bruce Ballingall and Wayne Plummer were in to discuss a proposal that a youth soccer league be formed under the Youth League. They were also investigating where to get the money necessary to fund this project because this soccer venture had not been part of the Youth League's 2000 budget. They were advised that perhaps a special town meeting could be had with the request that these funds be transferred from the surplus fund. This matter will be discussed at the September 12, 2000 Financial Advisory Committee meeting at which the project representatives will be invited to attend.

    Gail Gantick telephoned with information regarding the last few remaining accounts she was working on.

    Larry Wood was in to discuss the availability of a room at the Community Center for the Boy Scouts to use for storing their flag, arts & crafts materials, etc. The Scouts will utilize the CEO's old office.

    General Assistance Administrator met with a client and a Maine State Trooper.

    Mail was reviewed.

    Weekly warrant was completed.

    No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:00 pm.
