SELECTMEN MEETING
JANUARY 18, 2001

Herbert Ramsdell, Kathy Maddocks were in attendance.

Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

    Meeting was not videotaped.

Wayne Atwood was in to discuss a property tax matter.

Dick Jarrett and Dave Smith were in to discuss the proposed zoning ordinance amendments which will be further discussed at the January 25, 2001 hearing. Freeman Abbott was also present during portions of the conversation. Dick and Dave were mostly concerned with the number of yards of gravel that could be removed within an 90 period, pointing out that over the course of a year this yardage could be as high as 2,000 yards. They were also concerned with the private way definitions which could allow residences in extremely remote locations without adequate access roads to compensate for emergency vehicles. Dick and Dave were advised that this Board had not yet voted whether or not to go forward with a referendum ballot in March for these amendments, and that the Board would be voting after the January 25 hearing.

Guy Paulin was in to briefly discuss building construction.

    Mail was reviewed.

    Weekly warrant was completed.

No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
